My name is Pavlina. I've lived in Sheffield for just over 9 years. I met Mark, my husband, 8 years ago, got married 6 years ago and now we have our first baby on the way. While in England I've always lived in Sheffield and to be honest I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. People here are friendly and helpful. I call this place my home now. It helps that I have lots of Czech and Slovak friends here and that Mark's family is so nice to me. There is lovely countryside around Sheffield which is only a few minutes' drive away so it's easy to escape day to day stress by going for long walks, camping for a few days or having picnics with friends. There's loads of nice places to go and see. I have several Czech friends who lived in London for few years but after visiting us in Sheffield a few times they decided to move up here. All of them say that this place is a lot less stressful, much more friendly and that the way of living is better. I have to agree with them.
